Little Cougar Creek is located within Nez Perce County, Idaho and is a tributary to the Snake River (shown as number 40 in figure 1). There are approximately 481 acres within the watershed.

Wetlands

The USDA Soil Survey for Lewis/Nez Perce counties was used to determine the extent of hydric soils within the watershed. Approximately 0.8 acres were identified and are illustrated in figure 2 (shown in light blue).
