China Creek is located within Nez Perce County, Idaho and is a tributary to the Salmon River (shown as number 44 in figure 1).

The watershed encompasses approximately 9,400 acres of rangeland (figure 2).

Approximately 490 acres of hydric soils are located within the boundaries. Hydric Soils are shown in the light blue in figure 3.
