This station is hosted by the Nez Perce National Historical Park. A park ranger talks to the students about Nez Perce Indian history and why having knowledge of this and other cultures is important to archaeology. Students gather around and look at artifacts brought from the museum including items like leather, moccasins, and arrowheads. Students also get a chance to try their hand at historic javelin.
