Eagle Creek is located within Nez Perce County, Idaho and is a tributary to the Salmon River (shown as number 45 in figure 1). The watershed encompasses 16,599 acres.

Ownership
The majority of land is owned by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (65%), followed by Idaho State (23%), federal – Bureau of Land Management (12%) and private (1%).
