Rangeland Conservation and Development Program

Resource Conservation and Rangeland Development and Loan Program

Purpose: To provide grants and loans to assist eligible applicants in implementing resource management projects, which include but are not limited to:

  • Conserving soil and water resources
  • Promoting efficient and beneficial use of Idaho state water resources through implementation of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs)
  • Improving riparian areas for multiple use
  • Increasing productivity of croplands, pasture, rangelands, and woodlands
  • Conserving and improving fish and wildlife habitat

Special Emphasis: Lands in 303 (d) listed watersheds
