The Snake River Complex fire burned 109,444 acres of range and timberland in Nez Perce and Lewis Counties, Idaho.
The fire occurred on state, federal, tribal and private lands. A post fire assessment was conducted to identify areas of concern. Due to the large burned area restoration efforts were addressed by the Bureau of Land Management for federal acres, Idaho Department of Lands or Idaho Department of Fish and Game for state acres, the Nez Perce Tribe for tribal acres, and the District/Nez Perce County for private acres. The restoration efforts underway for each ownership is described below.
